Superformance Shelby Daytona Coupes

The first Daytona Coupe was completed at the factory and extensively road tested in 2000. Peter Brock and Bob Negstad from Ford were instrumental in the design of the car. This culminating in a 4000-mile week long trip through South Africa by Bob Olthoff and Larry Miller. Over 140 examples were built with the majority completed by Olthoff Racing.
The second-generation Daytona Coupe was upgraded and is now marketed as a CSX 9000 with full Shelby licensing.
Peter Brock’s brilliant design remains a legendary classic — a perfect blend of raw power and aerodynamic elegance.
